Students must take at least two years of instruction in the same foreign language to meet the recommended college preparatory core curriculum.  Three years of the same foreign language or two years each of two different languages is one of the criteria for the State of Ohio Honors Diploma.

Students taking a foreign language should plan on spending approximately thirty to forty-five minutes each night studying and/or completing homework.  Learning a foreign language requires self-discipline and an extensive amount of memorization.
