We are looking for high school seniors who have shown outstanding 
academic ability despite financial challenges.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible to apply for the National College Match in the fall of 2016, 
applicants must graduate from high school during or before the summer of 2017 
and plan to enroll as a freshman in college in the fall of 2017.

Academic Criteria

* Grades and rigor of high school curriculum 

* Primarily A's in the most challenging courses available 
(usually including Honors, AP, and/or IB level courses.)

* Class rank  - Top 5-10% of your graduating class.

* Standardized test scores - 
SAT (CR+M) scores > 1240 and 
ACT composite score > 28

* We also recommend submitting any 
AP, IB, or SAT Subject Test scores.

The Ohio JCI Senate C & E Foundation is made up of the life members of the Ohio JCI Senate who were members of the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Butler Rural Electric Scholarship

$2,500 Award

Every spring, Butler Rural Electric Cooperative awards college scholarships to 
high school seniors whose parents or guardians are members of the cooperative. 
The top ten applicants are selected based on GPA and community involvement. 

Two students will be awarded a first place, $2,500 scholarship, 
two students will be awarded the second-place R. Fred Woodruff Scholarship in 
the amount of $1,500 each, and six students will be awarded $1,000 college scholarships 
from Butler Rural Electric Cooperative. 

The first-place male and the first-place female will be invited to compete for 
additional scholarships from Ohio's Electric Cooperatives in Columbus, OH. 
They have a chance to receive one of nine scholarships offered at the state level.

Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5

Tony Hinson Memorial/ Ross Athletic Booster Scholarship

DEADLINE: April 14, 2017

Qualifications:

- Must be a Ross High School or Butler Tech
senior that has attended Ross all 4 years

- Must have received a Varsity letter in this year’s season

- Minimum GPA of 3.0

- Must be attending a 2 or 4 year college/university

- Parents/guardians must be a paid booster member by April 15th.

Parent must work at least one night in the concession stand. If your sport does not have a concession stand, you must work at another sporting event. Parents must attend at least two Booster meetings (2nd Monday of each month) by the May meeting.

- 5 scholarships will be awarded at $1,000.00 each for a total of $5,000.

If fewer than 5 applications are eligible, the $5,000.00 will be split among the total number eligible.
