The AXA Achievement Scholarship

DEADLINE: December 15, 2017

The AXA Achievementsm Scholarship offers college scholarships of $2,500, $10,000 and $25,000 to high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community or the workplace. Scholarship winners are known as AXA Achievers. They are ethnically and economically diverse, but they share these qualities: ambition and drive; determination to set and reach goals; respect for self, family and community; ability to succeed in college.

The Ohio State University Alumni Scholars Program

DEADLINE: January 10, 2018

For high school seniors who are living in the club area (Butler County), who plan to attend The Ohio State University. The scholarship is based on merit and is a recruitment scholarship. 

Eligibility:

**Be admitted to The Ohio State University

**Preferably ranked in the top 10%

**Be recommended by school principals, counselors and/or teachers based on scholastic ability and character

**Have a record of performance in activities both in school and in the community

**Impress the Scholarship Committee with a sound interest and positive attitude toward college work

**Be residents or attend high school in the area in which the participating alumni club's membership is based

Ohio Township Association Scholarship

DEADLINE: January 29, 2018

Award: $1,500

Two Local Government Achievement scholarships will be awarded, and one Academic Achievement scholarship. 

Local Government Achievement - Student must demonstrate outstanding citizenship through service and participation in community activities. 

Academic Achievement - Student must have a B average (cumulative) and at least a 22 ACT or 1000 SAT score.

Tony Hinson Memorial/ Ross Athletic Booster Scholarship

DEADLINE: April 13, 2018

Qualifications:

- Must be a Ross High School or Butler Tech 
senior that has attended Ross all 4 years

- Must have received a Varsity letter in this year’s season

- Minimum GPA of 3.0

- Must be attending a 2 or 4 year college/university

- Parents/guardians must be a paid booster member by April 15th.

Parent must work at least one night in the concession stand. If your sport does not have a concession stand, you must work at another sporting event. Parents must attend at least two Booster meetings (2nd Monday of each month) by the May meeting.

- 5 scholarships will be awarded at $1,000.00 each for a total of $5,000.

If fewer than 5 applications are eligible, the $5,000.00 will be split among the total number eligible.

2. The student’s desire to further their education and financial need will be major considerations as well as academic achievement.
